Feel free to ask any questions. My email address is fireduck@gmail.com. I put that with absolutely no obfuscation because I don't think I could possibly be on more spam lists. Gmail does a very good job with it.
Can't I get BTC cheaper on an exchange?
Absolutely. I am charging a bit of a premium based on being simple and easy. You can absolutely get a better price at once of the exchanges. However, it will be more of a hassle.
Bitcoin Exchanges
What is your price based on?
I take the 24-hour high from MtGox and add 20%. (Was %10)
Now the price is based on the vwap (volume weighted average).
Under what conditions will you cancel my order?
Just to be clear, if this happens you won't be charged. It won't cost you anything and I would be out either. But here are the situations:
If the price of BTC in the market has been too wild and I don't think I can buy them at a low enough price to fill your order
If your order is too large and I don't want to take the risk, since my sending bitcoins to you is non-reversable but I could potentially be hit with a charge-back
If you think you are clever and modify the HTML post values for the form to lower the price
If you don't include a valid Bitcoin address with your order
Refunds
If you are unsatisfied with your Bitcoin purchase, I'll gladly refund your purchase provided:
1) You can transfer the bitcoins back to me (I won't quibble about the small transaction fee the Bitcoin network will likely charge you)
2) The price you paid is above the 24-hour MtGox high. If this is no longer true, we can work out a partial refund.
However, if you provided the wrong Bitcoin address or lost you wallet file and are thus unable to return the Bitcoins to me, no refund will be possible.
How long will it take to get my coins?
For now I am processing the transactions by hand which allows me to do an additional sanity check on everything. So I expect most transactions to be filled within a few hours but it might be as long as 48 hours depending on what I am doing. I won't instruct Google Checkout to charge your card until I've issued the Bitcoin transaction.
If there is interest I'll work on automating this, but it will require using a better API with Google Checkout and doing a bunch of sanity checking code so I wouldn't expect that soon.
